Hi guys

Our wedding has gone through the roof in expenses (we are paying for the whole thing) and we were going to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon.

1st week Oahu - Moana Surfrider
http://www.moana-surfrider.com/

2nd week Maui - Royal Lahaina Resort
http://www.hawaiihotels.com/Main/Sub...D=100&Ref=HHR#

Economy: - £4,034

Thing is the maui hotel is not all that great. i am not that impressed so if i was going to spend that i would want it to be really nice (checked trip advisor just seems very standard)

So do we go to Hawaii where it will cost alot in spending money to eat out etc or do we go somewhere else??? Prob be another £1,500 inspending money.

If so any ideas???? (no not Orlando i wont get away with that)lol

I love anything American and H2B loves places to Maldives so that is why we were thinking Hawaii. Would def not go to the med or anything like that and want something special.

Thought about mexico all inclusive but not sure. Would prob pay about £4,000 but that would be including spending money....

We def need some cut backs HELP

What about a twin centre holiday which could include Dubai which looks stunning.

Virgin also do a round the world type ticket with some wonderful places. Have a look on their website Trace.

If you go to the Maldives, I would recomend a twin centre with Dubai too. We were in the Maldives for 2 weeks in June and despite the superb settings I was crawling up the wall after 14 nights. A stopover in Dubai for 4 nights would have been great. We are off there tomorrow, so I could give you some feedback after, but I am sure others could too.

What about a Disney cruise in the Caribbean (or any other cruise for that matter !) ?

Shouldn't cost an arm & a leg and would be all inclusive - plus you'd get to visit some very nice tropical destiations , safe in the knowledge that you will be well looked after. :)

They are really not so expensive if booked direct with DCL or an american specialist TA - much cheaper than through a UK tour operator. ;)

What about a two centre taking in the nice hotel in Hawaii on the 2nd week. For the first week you could do some of the east side of America; Las vegas, Los Angeles , San Francisco , San Diego- not all of them, just naming a few possibilities. Or if you like American and he likes relaxing beaches, what about the Florida Keys? I have heard great things about that area.
