Departure day - advice needed please

Hi all - we are booking a taxi for the end of our cruise but our flight doesnt leave till 7.40pm so I am thinking we have two choices
a) get the taxi to DTD and do early check in with Virgin and then arrange for the taxi to collect us at 5pm
0r
b)get the taxi to the airport and book a day room for the day

I think I would prefer a but dont know how feasible it is? Would book the taxi for 9am - would this be ok?

we actually did 'a' but as it turned out wished we'd got a day room as our flight ended up being delayed and I was not well :( Difficult one....

If you feel like splashing out a little on your last day , I'd be tempted to book a day room at the Hyatt at the airport (apparently you can get good rates for day rooms).

There is a swimming pool there, if you don't feel up to much...but if you feel more energetic/on the bored side after you get washed & changed, you could always take a taxi to DTD or I Drive and do some last minute shopping/mini golf etc. :)

At least you will have options depending how you feel.
