Just seen the Premium Console on play.com for £199.99 and want to buy it for DH as a surprise but is it a good buy? If it helps he won't be interested in Xbox live. Ta :)

we've got 2 in our house.they are the top console in my opinion.i have all 3(ps3/wii/360) but spend most of my time on the 360.the games are great and there is a wide variet of games.top price as well.

never mind halo 3....if your DH isn't interested in xbox live then Bioshock's a must, it's single player only and concentrates on expanding the story as you go - an awesome game with a 'deeper' than average story line...no pun intended, well maybe a little!

OMG it's arrived today and WOW!!! plus what's even better is that it's up to £249.99 on Play today. He's still not bothered about Halo 3 at the moment so I'll tell him about Bioshock :) Mind you we're now going to be arguing about who gets to use the big TV - lol

If your husband likes shooters get him Rainbow Six Las Vegas. As its been out a while now you should be able to pick it up for less than £20 and imo the best single player & online game the 360 has to offer.

I also agree with others about Bioshock, that was an excellent game :-)
