Cocoa Beach?

We are flying to Florida fo 11 nights on the 29th December ( up until this morning i thought we were flying the 30th lol ). We had planned to stay at Siesta Key , just myself and dh btw , however decided we might be bored and have booked a 7 night cruise , this will leave s 3 nights at the end of the holiday and no idea where to spend them .
Has anyone stayed at Cocoa Beach and if so what is it like?

Hi Ive been to cocoa beach and didnt like it, the beach is not that good, the best thing was the ron jon surf shop. I wouldnt feel safe at night time, not the best of areas. I thought I would be honest. wouldnt go again, once was enough for us.

We went to cocoa beach a couple of years ago to watch the shuttle launch, i have to say it looked a bit run down to me.
