We are travelling to Orlando on 22 November (thanksgiving) and staying at Hard Rock Hotel. Was wondering whether to book a table in one of the restaurants at HRH or go over to City Walk and take a chance on not too many queues for meals. Has anyone eaten for dinner at HRH??

I found the kitchen quite pricey - my choice would be to hit City Walk and prob Bubba Gump! :wavey:

Yes the menus seem quite pricey but as it is our first night and as we have got the holiday for nothing I thought it might be worth a treat!

The Kitchen is a restaurant in HRH, it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had lunch there and were really impressed, didn't feel it was too pricey for the quality and service.

I'd choose HR cafe over the Kitchen personally, esp if you're with teens, but that's just me!:)

if you want a really special (pricey) meal do try the Palm at HRH...it's really fab!:)

We did The Kitchen in August 06 and while we had a nice meal, I wouldn't rave about it (for the price we paid).

The setting was very nice and the server we had was excellent. I can't fault the food really but it didn't blow me away either if you know what I mean?

Must admit when DD suggested the HRC for her 18th birthday meal this year, we were expecting a very pricey menu. But we were pleasantly suprised.
It was a bit more expensive than other places we had eaten, but considering the high profile of the place, it wasn't that bad. The meals were fantastic.DH said it was his best steak of the holiday, and me and SIL had the hickory beef - delicious. The service was great, the waitresses bought DD's dessert with a candle in it (she had a 18th birthaday sash on- that's how they knew!) and got the whole room to sing Happy Birthday to her. 9 meals plus desserts and drinks came to about $280 - we thougt this was good value for what we had!!
Must say it's one place we're defiinitely going back to next year....

We have eaten at The Kitchen a few times and really enjoyed it but thought it had gone off a bit last year. There is a good choice at Citywalk but sometimes it's nice just to wander downstairs and eat at the hotel you're staying in.

We never ate at the HRH, well the Beach Club bar we had chicken wings, which were ok. Bubba Gumps got a big thumbs up from my family. It's a short walk to City Walk from the HRH.

with teenagers I'd go to the Hard Rock cafe my 2 voted it the best meal of our hols. You unfortunatley can't book but when we showed our room cards from the HR hotel our wait was cut from 30 mins to 5!

Ate at The Kitchen only for breakfast which was very nice. Would go to City Walk for more choice.
