For an Appetizer they do a lovely tart after that the food yuck. Even DS1 wouldn't eat the fish and chips, DS2 ate only his dessert and DH ate nothing.
It is supposed to be a traditional english pub one side is full of drinkers and the other diners. I wouldn't take a toddler, my 5 year old got bored very quickly and as I've said the food was bad.
We aways go at least once and enjoy it everytime and with so many Dibbers working there it would be rude not to go see them!!!!!!!

We went there in August got a great table outside for Illuminations
food was ok, unfortunately I find kids menus at Disney a little limited (mine hate maccaroni cheese) but they (5 & 4) were able to find something here
cant remember what they had now but there was nothing wrong with it , and a great location if you can combine it with the Illuminations
I've eaten their twice - lunch was a defintie no no - with far too much seasoning in all of the food - even friends who like pepper couldn't eat the food. However I have also had supper there and it was delicious.

Just to add we had lunch there, the servers were fine both in the bar and the dining room. It was just the food was awful.

We have the DDP and were thinking about booking it.
We are going to give the children some of our food as the portions are supposed to be huge
I think i will look elsewhere as the comments here are very mixed,
Thanks for the input

We ate here a couple of weeks ago and the food was very nice. My boys age 6 and 5 had sausage, mash and gravy and they both enjoyed it.
I had the soup for starters which was delicious!! :tounge: They were also very good letting me select another appetizer and a side as my main course. I am veggie and the only option for me was curry which i don't like.
My dessert wasn't anything special but we had an enjoyable meal and a great view of illuminations.
We were seated right next to the bar area so it was quite noisy but that doesn't bother us.
There were lots of children there. :)
We haven't eaten there for a while, but we had a lovely meal and it was my DD's favorite as she had Shepherd's Pie which was nice and familiar for her (and not the usual chicken strips or Mac and Cheese).
We also had an amazing view of Illuminations and a really good night.
Forget The Rose and Crown. The choice of food and the atmosphere is ten times better in the German Beergarden in EPCOT. Cheesy entertainment but the kids and adults love it and eat as much as you like.Something for everyone.
My DD loved the sausage and Mash, they had cayons to draw on the menu to keep her happy too!
Two poor experiences on the last 2 trips - won't be back.

We thought it was a nice place to eat and great for viewing the fireworks but the food last time really was pretty poor.
Such a shame as it could be a great showcase for both contemporary and traditional British food but the kitchen really needs a good sorting out.
