stayed at the Dolphin and really liked it. Loved the restaurants, and the swiming pool was great....also the beach bar ;) Had a great room looking out over the water too :)

We love the Dolphin, as you can probably tell from my signature! ;)

It's slap bang in the middle of WDW, and has some fantastic views from the rooms. Have you joined the Starwood Preferred Guest program? If not, it's not too late to do it at www.spg.com , then just add your membership number to your hotel booking, it could get you a free upgrade.

If you're a member of the AA take your card, as it gets you 20% off food at Picabu, Dolphin Fountain and Fresh.

If you haven't already seen their website, it's at www.swandolphin.com

If you have any questions just ask away. :D

I have to say that the Dolphin was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. I will be going back in a few years ,once I have saved up the money.. :wavey:

Fantastic hotel,. stayed there Nov 2005 for a few nights.
Great location for Boadwalk and Epcot.
Reccomend the Grill and Brewery for food, ESPN for fun hope you have a great time..

I like them very much (moreso the Swan, it's smaller and less convention-like). But the beds and location are the best!

Although I've never actually stayed I took the opportunity of a good nosey when I was there in May - I really liked the look of both hotels, the public areas were gorgeous and also the restaurants very good.

I don't know if this is the case all the time, but the one minor 'blip' seemed to be the boats. We were staying at the Boardwalk, which was the first pick-up, then it went to the Yacht & Beach Club, by the time it got to the Swan/Dolphin it was sometimes full so ended up bypassing. If that's the case you can always just take the short walk around to the Boardwalk or the Yacht & Beach Club to hop on the boat there :)
