Hubby is not too hot on water or water parks. I was just wondering does anyone know is the water in the Cross Country Creek very deep. Basically would he be able to stand up in it.

Hi
No its waist high, tell him to grab a sunbed and relax and if not there's a bar if he fancies a beer.
Try the family raft ride my 3 and 7 tear old went on that, when you hit the bottom of the slide its gentle and not deep, my 3 year old could stand up in that water.
Have fun we have just returned- very sad now.

Tell him to relax and have fun, i am not a water person but the water parks are great and have something for everyone.

I can't swim and was really nervous about the rides at blizzard beach, but i loved it. The only ride i didn't like the look of was summit plummit, my sister went on it and made the mistake of sitting up at the bottom before she stopped and choked on the water, bless her she was in a right state. And my partner still has 2 big bruises on his bottom from it (we went there almost 3 weeks ago)

i cannot swim, but enjoy the water parks, i just stay off the things i don't fancy. he will be fine and going by my experience he will enjoy it, when my lot went on the bigger rides, i just grabbed a ring and sailed round the lazy river thingies.

Yeah - what everyone else said :)!

He will be fine, even if he is not a swimmer, there is loads of shallow water, and loads of places to just relax and read a book xx

On our first trip I didn't go to the water parks with our group and nearly didn't on our second trip - but I'm so glad I did!

At TL I was with my niece (10) and nephew (13) and we were gone so long having fun that they sent out a search party for us (aka my DH & DB) with the walkie talkies LOL - it was brill!

I did quite a few of the things at the water parks, but TBH I loved the lazy river things best at TL and BB! - wish I had one at home to relax with  LOL!
