Hi,

I am looking for a hotel for May 2008 for a couple of nights. We are moving on to our time share after a couple of days.

I have been looking at various hotels and I think I have it narrowed down to the Lake Buena Vista area (cant remember why I chose here, think I liked the sound of it).

I have also been looking at the Comfort Inn - LBV as a fairly cheap place to stay. Anyone been here recently? Or anyone any other recommendations for LBV hotels?

Don't want to spend a fortune as its only a couple of days and we wont be in it that much. Ideally looking for clean and safe (I.e. Not motels), a pool and decent sized rooms as it will be 4 of us (Me, DW, DD8 & DD3).

Thanks

Siddex

Comfort Inn is absolutely fine. I would call it clean and safe but it is a motel style with outside corridors. It's very basic and maybe a little shabby but nothing wrong with it at all.

We stayed at Comfort Inn last year it was clean and ok, no probs for a budget hotel. This year we have booked Courtyard by Mariott Palm Parkway via Alpha Rooms for £27 per night. It's just over the road from comfort inn and we liked the look of it last year, reviews have also been good on trip adviser.

We stayed just 1 night at the Comfort Inn LBV in June before being moved (by tour operator) to another resort. It was just awful, I couldn't recommend it any more, sorry. Full details in my trippie.

We stayed in Fairfield Inn LBV in April and I would certainly recommend it,its a proper hotel with closed corridors ,clean tidy ,quiet and the Marriot Village is gated so secure.
Its close to all major parks .
Excellent value for money ,we paid £30/night and it has help yourself free breakfast and coffee available 24/7 in lobby, staff v helpful, will even do olci for your return flight.
of all the areas we have stayed this is my favourite

Courtyard by Marriott on Palm Parkway is about £25 a night for room only and is great value. On the quiet side of Palm Parkway so no noise from I4. Loads of restaurants within walking distance.
Highly recommended.

Another vote here for the Country Inn and Suites going in 3 weeks for the 3rd time this year through wintersunshineholidays for 8 nights £191 pounds, roughly £24 per night .Its a Proper hotel and includes continental breakfast bagels, waffles, toast, cereal, muffins ,fruit juice ,fruit. There is free coffee, tea, hot chocolate available all day, free daily newspaper, Freshly baked cookies all day long too.Rooms are lovely either two queen size beds(our king size) or 1 king size(our super king size) with extra vanity unit in bedroom.Fridge, microwave and coffemaker.
Stayed in the Comfort inn last may and although it was ok we would not go back now that we have found the country inn.
