MGM is to be renamed!

MGM is going to be renamed Hollywood Studios and will included 2 new shows and a new parade to replace the Stars and Motor Cars parade curently runnng. Janruary 2008 is when the name will be changed but it'll be Spring 2008 before the new attractions are completed! I can't wait!! :pgig: :pgig:

This isn't all new news but I think it is the first time they have tied it all up together as a Press Release.

I am pleased myself a new injection of life...now when will they move the hat so its like tthe old days.

i can't wait i go in july 2008, the theme parks in flordia have really change since 2006, but i do like MGM more than hollywood studios as name i think it everyone will still call it by MGM.

hollywood studios is a good name, but ita MGM thats how i know it, its bit sad. cant wait for the new parade though, i didnt think much of the other one.

I'm not bothered what it's called as long as they change the Lights, motor, action show or whatever it's called!! It's not quite the same when you've seen it 3 or 4 times - we go in October 08 so should be a new show by then!! :grin:

Yeah dont really care what they call it... Supposed to be getting a new rollercoaster like the one just gone into DLP but not themed to Nemo but rather the new rattalouie or whatever its called...also the new Toy Mania ride plus possibly a new show to replace indie and a new parade...so this is a lot more exciting that the name change

i always call the studios at DLP MGM, so will still call it MGM at WDW.
