Last minute deals for half term?

Want to grab a bargain if poss..departing on 20th October for half term hols!
Still seem a lot available but too much £ at mo..Anyone ever got a last min bargain for this time of year b4?
Dont mind where but need to depart from London or even Bournemouth if poss!
As I'v finally got DH to agree, I hope I find one! ;)

Budget & party size?

Quick look at 2 adults/2kids on 20th October from LGW for S/C or BB package to the Med eg Spain/Portugal about £850 all inc.

due to the fact we live at the back of beyond it always costs us a fortune to go on holiday but i see these cheap deals flying from london airports all the time..good luck

Thanks for the replies...We are 2 adults, A child age 13 & a child age 2
I'm still searching but my prices seem too high(£1000 plus)...Really want about £700 for a week, dont mind where as long as its for families(so not Magaluf etc..!) & need to fly out of LGW or Bournemouth if available!
If anyone finds something I'd be really grateful..We are even willing to book right up to the very last min if thats better...so fri 19th & then pack and go!
