Hi T
We really enjoyed our meal at the Nine Dragons last month. I will be eating here again.
we went to both in august with free ddp and out of the two i prefer nine dragronsdue to quality of food, spoodles you get way to much food, one main meal is enough for two.

Ithink 9 Dragons Is Closing Or Being Renovated Soon So I Should Go There As It May Be Your Last Chance
We liked them both, but they are totally different to each other!
The food was very nice in Spoodles, but we enjoyed Nine Dragons partly because it was nice to have a different style of food to what we had been eating a lot of
Depending on where else you are eating I think I would go for Nine Dragons.
Good news about Nine Dragon
we have made a reservation and were wondering if we had done the right thing.
cant wait now

We went to Spoodles and did not enjoy it one bit. Very expensive and the menu was very limited in choice. I had the Lingue (pasta) and was sick later on back at the hotel.

We didn't think much of Spoodles either, expensive and noisy and we didn't get big portions!

Keep hearing some very mixed reviews for Spoodles, think we will dump this one!
Thanks

I really enjoyed Spoodles - yes the menu is limited and it is an open kitchen so I guess can be noisy. The plus side of that is you can see your food being cooked - it is very fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The home made gelato was THE best dessert I had in my 3 week trip.
I do like the look of Nine Dragons but eat plenty of Chinese food here, it does not bother me to miss it for a while lol

Another family here who loved Spoodles.
My DS1 who is 12 was eating from the adult menu. They were very accommodating and gave him his main without the chilli sauce.
I found the food to be very fresh and the service to be low key and friendly, just how we like it.
I'm sure you will love either of them.:)

After checking out the menus and reading previous reviews we have booked an ADR for Spoodles for my 40th birthday tea next Feb. Hope it doesn't disappoint! :erm:
.
Spoodles was the favourite of our friends who were on the free ddp in August. They raved about it. We will give it a try next year I think.

We cancelled our adr at Spoodles as we felt the new menu choices were quite limited and there just wasn't much that appealed to us!
We made a last minute adr at Nine Dragons, which i wasn't too sure about as i'd read so many mixed reviews, but i can honestly say it was one of the best meals of our trip! The food was gorgeous! I'd highly recommend it and will definately be going back!
