the tickets are 64 dollars each has anyone been, can you buy tickets when you get there i see florida residents get 30 dollars off the price on the net if they put a promo code in off a can of coke, thinking of taking our 14 yr son who wants to go, whats the disney halloween night like thanks

HHN is a great experience and well worth the extra admission price, but I'd be wary of taking your son unless he's very brave and into horror movies as it is extremely intense and really aimed at adults.
You can buy tickets there. In addition to the single admission ticket there is a Frequent Fear pass which gives multiple admissions on selected nights or a Stay and Scream ticket which you can only get if you have daytime admission to the park. This ticket allows you to stay in the park when it closes to day guests and get a bit of a head start on the HHN crowds.

Haven't done the disney one but did the universal one last year for the 1st time. DS who was 15 at the time loved it and can't wait to do it again this year.

MNSSHP is great fun too, much more suitable for children. There is a special parade and special Hallowishes fireworks and lots of candy at trick or treat stations for the kids. Its a good opportunity to see lots of characters who are not often out in the parks. There were hardly any lines for the rides when we went.

We went to the HHN on the 28th and we loved it. 13 year old son thought it wasn`t in the least bit scary just a lot of fun.
The shows are really good Rocky Horror Tribute was a laugh but the Bill and Ted show was really fantastic and it was standing room only. Loved their "Pirates" rip off :pgig: :pgig:
But Jacks Carnival of Carnage was the best. I had never seen him before so didn`t know what to expect and it`s really good. They do make a lot of digs at Disney and that all adds to the fun as well. The side shows and supposed scary people wandering around are ok, but one of the Chainsaw men managed to creep up behind me and really gave me the fright of the evening, all caught on camera by DH
Definately not for younger children, but we loved it and even considering the amount of alchohol that was being sold we never saw any drunk or loutish behaviour and we were there till the very end of the night.
Also rides were just a walk on,we did the Mummy about 6 or 7 times. I think we paid $40 each but prices were different on different evenings.
I would definately do this night again as it was so much fun. :wavey:
Hi Carole
We were there the same night as you! Which houses did you manage to do? We only managed The Curse of Mary Shaw, Friday 13th, Freddie Krugger and the psychiatric xmas holidays one.
I am so gutted we didn't look at the queue time for the Mummy, i absolutely love that ride but thought the queue would be massive judging by the queues for the houses!

Hi, lucky you , you managed quite a few houses. We only got to go to the Thing which was awful. Probably the worst one there according to a local family we spoke to. Maybe that`s why the queue wasn`t as big :(
Really wanted to do Friday 13th and Freddie Kreuger but it was soooo busy. Think that`s why the rides were quieter.
Just hope our next trip is around the same time as i would love to go back, this time with an expresspass :d: :wavey:

We went to Universal horror last year and it was fantastic. We had to go on a Fri night which was a pain as there were lots of 'locals' getting very drunk.
Can't remember which houses we went into but managed about 3. Rode the Mummy twice - no queues.
We left at about 10.30pm as it was getting very busy and roudy, some of the house queue's were massive.
Last year the coke deal was for anyone as I used the deal, they seem to have narrowed it down to Florida residents this year. :(
