Hi Pottermouse will you take some photos and post them and perhaps give me an idea which would be a good room location/number to request

Have a great time :wavey:

Hello,

I have stayed in the Springhill Suites in a disabled room. :spin:

We were given this room as there wasn't any of the other suites available when we checked in. So i can not compare it to a standard room as we never saw one.

It is great, there is pleanty of space, the bathroom was massive, the wardrobe was very low down for easy access to clothes etc... the kitchen part was open, its such a spacious room.

We had two MASSIVE double beds, a "living" area, two TV's!!! (we had one each!!) It is the nicest hotel i have ever stayed in, we are going back to the fairfield next year as the Springhill suites was actually too big for just us two :spin:

The breakfast is amazing, hot fresh waffles (cook yourself), toast, fruit, bagels, sausages, egg, cereals, coffee, hot choc, tea etc etc..

The staff are fantastic, the pool area is fab, the complex is great, right next to our fave place to eat, Bahama Breeze & Golden Corral. WOW i could go on forever, you will have a fantastic stay and a wonderful holiday.

If you want any other info please let me know, i'm more than happy to help x x x :wavey:

Our disabled room was actually on the 4th floor so you might be lucky.
Personally though I felt safe there, all the doors leading from the car park to the hotel excluding the main entrance needed your keycard to enter :) .

where would you recommend requesting a room?,I have asked for pool view not 1st floor but I have read this might be noisy, did you over look the pool or the car park ?

Hi :wavey:

Sorry have only just seen your post regarding taking photo's, we may have some though will check and post later.

We noticed that there were some rooms on the ground floor for disabled guests near to reception, don't know if there were any of these rooms on the other floors though.

The hotel was generally quiet but at night as the pool/jacuzzi area is open until 11pm there was a bit more activity as people returned from the parks etc and took a dip to cool off, however it wasn't noticable to us and we had a pool view room.

With regard as to feeling safe, you can only enter the hotel by the main door (automatic sliding) and other doors leading into the hotel were only opened if you swiped your door card. We felt perfectly safe at all times. Security guards are around but not noticable.

All areas of the hotel were spotless and the maid was great. Every employee of this hotel was a credit to them, they were all very polite and helpful.

Have a great time

That`s where we`ve booked for next year too, so would love to see someone`s pics rather than the standard one`s on their homepage :wavey:

Hi - I know what you mean by standard photos, we were trying to see a video or pics of disabled room but cannot find any.
