It is a fab hotel, stayed twice and booked for next year. It is a great location, just around the back of I Drive so quiet at night but only a 5 minute walk. We would walk down to Bahama Breeze, Olive Garden etc and up to Chilis and The George and Dragon pub, so very central.
It is lovely and clean with the comfiest beds ever and the staff are very welcoming.
Go For It!

DH and i have been there a few times and spent another 3 nights there on our trip a couple of weeks ago. Never fails to impress us. I can really recommend the executive level - we treated ourselves this time and it was a steal at only £20 per night more. A lovely breakfast in the morning in the executive lounge with yummy fresh cut pineapple and melon, bagels, bread, cereal, coffee and freshly sqeezed orange juice. IN the evening there was a hot snack, cookies, muffins, a cold tray with bottles of water and juice. Oh yes and the best bit was the unlimited wine and beer!!! There was aslo a computer with internet access which was handy for checking emails and the DIBB site!

Has anyone stayed here and had a room upgrade with a Priority Club Card? I am now a Platinum card holder, in May I was Gold and they didn't show any recognition. Most hotels give discount vouchers for food or room upgrades to the Executive club rooms but I couldn't find anything online about what this hotel usually gives.

We stayed there 2 years ago, and loved it. The hotel is nice, rooms are lovely, and the location is great. We loved FishBones around teh corner, but there are plently of nice places to eat. Can recommend Bahama Breeze (not too far a walk) - ate there twice in the last 2 weeks and it was great. (Incidentally, hotel was better that the extended Stay Deluxe that we stayed in, by miles).

I was a platinum card holder when I stayed there in 2006, but I got no special treatment, probably because it was booked via a travel company and not direct.

I did, however, receive the priority points for the money that I spent in the hotel on services etc.

One fantastic hotel, it was ranked 6th on Tripadvisor when we went a few years back and you could see why.

Great rooms, nice size and lovely comfortable beds. Great location also, walking distance to a lot of decent restaurants.

Only slight downer was the surly front desk staff but that was more than compensated by the Concierge (Duncan I think) who was probably the best we have had at any hotel in the world!!!!

You will love it!!!! :thumbs-up :thumbs-up :thumbs-up

I flashed my Gold Priority card but as I had booked through TCD it counted for nothing. HOWEVER when we went in 2005 my SIL decided at a last minute thing to come with us and had to travel independently. I booked her a room through Priority Club and she was offered an upgrade at a reduced price on check in. Didn't take it I'm glad to say as my credit card also paid for her room!

We stayed here in Sep 2006 and 2007,going back again November 2008.We will now always go to this hotel as the staff are brilliant,Lesandra (front desk manager) and good old Doug (concierge) they all wear badges saying "WIT" (WHATEVER IT TAKES) and they will bend over backwards to try and make your stay enjoyable.
