Horse riding

my two DD's have said that they would like to go horse riding when we are there at Xmas - we are going for three weeks so have said that we will have time to do things that we don't usually do. Has anyone done this and if so who did they use, was it worthwhile - any other comments.

The only place I know of that does this is The Hyatt Grand Cypress ( I don't think you have to be a guest) but there must be others as well.
They could always try for a job at Arabian Nights !!

My DD loved the horse trail from Disney's Fort Wilderness - you do not have to be staying on site to do this! :wavey:

We went riding at horse world and really enjoyed it - me and dd went on the 1 hour nature trail we booked in advance and used the discount coupon from their website. Hard hats are provided.

My sister-in-law went on the beginners ride at horseworld and said it was great !

We visited horseworld in November last year. Chose the beginners section and I think it was about $30 each, look out for discoutn vouchers in all the booklets around Orlando.
It was ok, but you do go round the same track again and again, and end up with a sore behind if you are not used to riding!
Was enjoyable though.

Hi Guys,

Just back and had 12 people in our group. 9 of us ranging from age 10 to 45 went horseriding at forever florida.

It is a MUST if you want to ride horses in Florida.

It has an awesome restuarant and the people there are wonderful and greatful for your business.

Incidentelly, out the the 9 who rode we had 2 people who had been riding before for a total of 2 hours!!
