Waiting for Cinders (Val) to get back before we decide..
Have seen a quote for 2 weeks, Sept 08, All Inc, 4 star, ocean front villa/suite thingy for 3 adults as DD is classed as an adult, Star class premier seating First Choice for £4,000 Wondering if this a good deal or not?
We plan to do absolutely nothing... it is going to be a beach bum, lazy, good book reading, pool cocktail sipping nothing kind of break! So NO shopping (although my radar alert has already alerted me to a WalMart in Cancun).......so maybe a LITTLE shopping then.... so not much spending money needed.

Don't go in September - that's my advice.
Too hot, lots of rain, very windy.
April was perfect, 90 degrees, but still windy.
If all you want is a lazy holiday, why go so far afield?
Such a waste to go all that way to sit on the beach, although the beaches aren't as nice as I had imagined, not soft and huge inclines into the sea.
If you don't plan to get out and about and see all the sights, you may as well go anywhere that has a good beach and hotel.
We were planning a lazy holiday, after 3 days we were bored stupid, you can't go to mexico without going to chitchen itza, tulum, cozumel etc.

Sounds Great! We were tempted to go to Mexico next year instead of Florida but thought we'd go back to Florida (a few more parks) while the kids are young enough to enjoy the Magic!! Mexico is on our "places to try list" :tounge:

I love mexico! went a couple of years ago all inclusive and loved it, am planning going back in 2009.
We stayed at the royal decameron which i couldn't fault at all.
The beach was lovely there, soft with white sand.
We went in september and the weather was perfect except for a storm one night.
Great place for chilling out in my opinion, with reasonably priced excursions if u fancy a couple of days out.
Go for it! :spin:
