Fingers crossed for Oct Shuttle Launch - possible delay

According to Central Florida News 13 the Oct shuttle launch may be postponed. (my veiwing tickets arrived today). A concern about the heat tiles may result in replacements,and that means rolling back the shuttle. This means a Oct launch is highly unlikely. Mangers in NASA meet next week to decide. So all keep fingers crossed especially those who have their tickets.

We may have missed our chance too.

Neither of our trips to Florida coincide with a launch in 2009 and then they are into the last year of operations in 2010.

Fingers & toes crossed but I can't see them overturning a safety recommendation like that.

Will have to spend an extra day in Vegas as compensation !!
