I'm searching for a late deal to Majorca for half term(Depart 20th) & the best deals are out of Cardif...So, can anyone give me some info on the Airport?
We will have to travel up from Bournemouth which is a long trip, but may be worth it to grab a late bargain!!

Is it easy to find?
Is parking readily available?
Do flights generally depart/Arrive on time?
Is it a nice airport to use?
Anyone know why most bargains I'm finding seem to depart from Cardiff?....Is it not very popular?
Thanks!

Cardiff is well sign-posted from the M4 so you should not have any problem finding it. There is parking at the airport but I used APH parking (book on-line). This is at a hotel just down the road and a minibus then takes you to the airport.
If you decide to go hope you have a fab time!
its a lovely airport go there most days for work .. if you have a morning flight it has got a holiday inn express next door i think is £39 per night and parking is good too

Lovely small quiet airport well sign posted from M4. The usual parking options...we've used a company called 'The Highwayman'. Flights on time just the same as most airports I suppose? Been a while since we've flown from our local airport but when we returned there after a long haul flight our bags took quite a while but that's very minor thing really.
One possibility of late deals when you want to travel is that some kids here are on half term week commencing 29th Oct (well mine are anyway) :wavey:

Dont suppose you've ever done the trip Cardiff airport to Bournemouth?
Just wondering how long it will take us?
Gatwick is about hour & half/two hours so hoping its not longer than that!

cardiff is a great airport and very easy to find. its cheaper for you to go from cardiff that week as the welsh half term is a week later

It was possible to get the severn bridge toll back when you used cardiff airport. Is this still available? That would help :D
