I am flying with VA in April 08,and need to carry needles and insulin on the plane any advice thanks

ask your consultant or doctor for a covering letter explaining what you are carrying and why you are carrying it in your hand luggage, tell them at check in that you have it , then tell them at customs before your bag goes throught the scanner/x-ray machine.

shouldn't have a problem if you do this, both our DDs are insulin depentant and have been carrying their insulins etc to the states for years. neither have had a major problem with this procedure, DD2 got asked how much insulin she had last year, but before that they have never been stopped or asked.
