Testing avatar.

Just made my 1st picture with writing on it. It's very basic but I had to start somewhere.

Thanks to Octal (Paul), for telling which programme to use.

Thank you, I used Gimp, Octal told me about it in a thread I did last week. I've only had alittle mess so far as it look's like a very complicated programme, hopefully I'll get better, the picture is from the lenox disney website.

I downloaded the 1st two, also the additional packages the english only one and the last download animation package.

So I've got the 1st two and the last two items downloaded from that page.

So far all I've done is get a picture on the screen pressed T, pressed the colour bar for text colour and typed then saved it, I had trouble saving it at first and I think I added a layer as it wouldn't save but then it did, also make sure you have more than one copy of the picture you do, as I have written on the orginal by mistake by I could probably undo it.

I just need to have a play about and see what I can do.
