I received this in an e-mail and thought I'd pass it on for those on holiday during this time. I've not been to this event myself (I think it might be new) but I know that several Dibbers have been to Fantasy of Flight and talk highly of it.

[Happy Feet]

We had this e-mail aswell today, but DH was gutted to see it was only a one-off.He would have loved a day out like this.
Went there this year, and had a great day(I'm not into planes, but enjoyable all the same). Great for kids, they can sit in cockpits, simulator flights, kids play area.
DH and DD8 went up in a 1920's bi-plane (only $60 pp for a 15-20 min flight) and they both said it was one of the best experiences of the holiday.

:angry: arghhhhh gonna miss out on this, not going untill Dec :cry: would have loved to go to it. We were at Fantasy of Flight a couple years ago when Kermit Weeks got married and he was stopping in to say HELLO to his staff before he went off on honeymoon. He was followed by a film crew and DW wished him well and asked for a cuddle .... alas she was not quick enough to prise his wallet out of his pocket lol I will go down and visit FoF when we are there :wave:
