Where's your favourite beach in Florida? Do you know of any that really wow you? I've been to Clearwater & although it's lovely white sand it's not so picturesque in Clearwater.

i've only been to Santa Rosa, up by Pensecola, its gorgeous, white sand and in season the turtles lay their eggs on the beach at night, a really special sight. my mum and dad now go back every year they love it so much

With respect to the great state of Florida, I don't think any of the beaches really have a WOW factor!!!

I liked Fort Lauderdale but the beach was nothing special. Certainly the rest of the East Coast is very hit and miss.

As for West Coast, yes quite nice but again nothing special. Clearwater was ok, as was St Pete's but I must admit I haven't been south West Coast.

There are far better places in the world if you want a great beach. Unfortunately most of them don't have the best entertainment in the world on their doorstep like FLA does.

Anywhere down on the south west gulf coast - Marco Island, Naples, Sanibel/Captiva, Sarasota area (Long Boat Key, Anna Maria Island). They are, personally, nicer than the real 'touristy' areas like St Pete Beach and Clearwater.

There's only one beach in Florida - Blizzard Beach. Nothing compares

Just got back from Clarwater beach, very hot got burnt even with high suncream, prefer Siesta Key as its sand not crushed shell like Clearwater

We went to Daytona, and thought it was rubbish, dirty beach, not sure if we were at the right part though, so we went onto to cocoa on the way home, also not impressed, we got lost on the way back, so had a full day wasted, kids were so fedup.
