Unblocking mobiles - help please

DD bought a Nokia 7373 on Vodaphone PAYG nearly a year ago.

Today she took it into town to have it unblocked. The shop wanted £20 and for her to leave it with them for 45 minutes which she did not do.

Can anyone advise us where to get this phone unblocked or how to do it ourselves.

Hi Lynn, did dd want the phone unlocking or unblocking?
If it's unlocking then i would try another mobile phone shop, i got mine unlocked for £10. If it's unblocking then she needs to ring vodaphone and ask for her PUK code and this is free.

I unlocked my Nokia for free just a week or so ago by following the link at Money Saving Expert and inputting the codes given there. Worked a treat.

Worked for me (but not unfortunately for the network I wante dto switch too :( )

had to unblock my Virgin payg a while ago - Virgin gave me the PUK (?) for free
