I know that there is often a thread asking about things other than the park and getting out and seeing the 'real' Florida. I've not been (but hope to soon to give a better opinion) to this location myself but knowing that it is in Mt. Dora I can suggest it just based on the area and knowing it would be a nice afternoon or morning out. It is a really nice area of town and quite old fashioned.
Long & Scott Farms (http://www.longandscottfarms.com/index.html) is offering a corn maze. It takes roughly 1 hour to 1-1/2 hour to complete. It is now open and will remain open until the end of November.

From their website:
General Public Hours: Saturdays and Sundays (Tuesdays through Fridays are for groups of 20 or more ONLY, but groups can make reservations on weekends.! See Schools & Groups)
Saturday 10:00 to 5:00*
Sunday 1:00 to 5:00*
*Selling the last Maze ticket at 3:00 PM on both days!!
Farm & Parking lot closes at 5:00 PM
Everyone must be out of the maze by 5 p.m. It generally takes about one and a half hours to find all the clues. Some groups take less time, some more. You may stay in the maze as long or as little as you wish, as long as you are out by 5 p.m.
Great family challenge. Divide into teams and see who finds their way out first and/or which team can answer the most Maze Questions.
Admission:

Youth 3 - 16 $8.
Big Kids 17 & Older $10.
ALL Youth 16 and under MUST be chaperoned by an adult!
