Hiya

There isn't much to do but its a gorgeous place to stay.
There will be plenty to do indoors on your honeymoon surely ? lol
Not a lot to do in Naples itself, but a few places worth a visit. Naples zoo is really pleasant, small but very well laid out, there is a large mall just over the road. Tin City is a large market place, then have a look at all the posh shops along the main drag. Visit Everglades city for the airboat ride and there are a couple of eateries there that are worth a visit.
You are a couple of hours from Miami across Alligator Alley where you've either got the beach, monkey world and Seaquarium, also Ft Lauderdale for the beach and on the way home pop into Sawgrass Mills a huge shopping mall.
Going the other way towards Ft Myers have a visit to the Edison Ford estate, very interesting. There's also Ft Myers beach.

I would agree not much to do if it rains, I think a couple of days would be enough the beaches are beautiful though. But like others have said as your on honeymoon you won't be venturing out much will you?
:wavey: I found Naples a lovely place I am sure you will enjoy it .

Shopping
Sat on the pier watching the dolphins
Marco island
Sat by the pool slowly getting drunk in the sunshine

Loads of nice places to eat

It you stay at the Old Trianon you can walk to the beach, Tin City, boat trip and all the good restaurants.
It did'nt rain once when we were there in April

We had a week in Naples at the Registry Resort in 2003.
The hotel is nice, but sadly it rained every day, there wasn't much to do, so we just chilled out.
However the restaurants in the area are fab - try the Silver Spoon for ribs!

We loved Naples. We stayed at Park Shore Resort for a week.
Gorgeous beaches with amazing sunsets.
Nice areas to walk around but all expensive.
We went to the zoo, also to a big outlet centre.
For some sun and relaxation it is a fabulous place.

Glad you enjoyed Naples. We're going for the first time next month and staying at the Park Shore :d: How did you like it? What is the surrounding area like (restaurants etc? How far away is the beach - am I right in thinking there's a shuttle? Sorry for the 20 questions, I've been looking on Tripadvisor and the PS website for some info on the surrounding area but it's been proving tricky.
May I just say to Helen on post #12 - I've only just managed to pick myself up off the floor after seeing your pic :d::d::d:. It's the funniest thing I think I've ever seen. Go on, tell me, how did you do that?
