View Full Version : Viewing Photos on a TV
Is it possible to view my digital Florida pics on a TV?
I need mega hints. Is it a CD or DVD you use? Is there a special program or do you do something simple?
Thanks

:wavey: Hi I am not very technical but you will have leads to plug from your camera to the t.v so you can see your photo's I am sure the instructions will be with your camera ,or someone else will come along and tell you exactly what you need to do but yes you cand definitley see them on tv.good luck.
Thanks Sylvy I do that already but would love to have them on a disc that would work. Any ideas?

most cd's will play on your dvd player if it is jpeg compatible .. a cd will only hold so much pics .. but if you have loads of pics download on to dvd disc and this will play providing your dvd player plays dvd+R or dvd-R .. the photopass disc from disney played on my dvd player
hope this helps .. x
I use a programme by ULEAD called DVD Picture show although there are others out there just as easy to use. You can create slideshows with it including transitions, background music, menus and text descriptions.

Thanks Jal, this was the kind of thing I was thinking. Are there any free programs out there people use?

Use a PC to burn them into a DVD slideshow. There's loads of programs that will do that for you.
Alternatively, if you have an XBox 360, just plug the camera into the USB socket and they'll show up in the media tab :)

to name a few :)
Maybe even Windows Movie Maker may do the job.
If you have them on disc already, a shop that prints photo/develops films may also be able to help you too.

If you've got either the lead or an SD card you can take them into boots use the Kodak machines to download them onto a CD.
This will then play on either your PC or most DVD's.
I put most of our holiday photos onto CD in the US before i came home just in case they got deleted from the camera by accident.

I use the lead which connects my camara to my PC to download my photos onto the PC. I put the photos into the "my documents/my photos" window then copy them onto a blank DVD-R disk which I then put into my DVD player to watch on the TV. I never delete the photos from my camera or PC until I have a hard copy which I keep in an a photograph album. I am sure there is an easier way to view them on the TV but I haven't got around to digging out my manual to read up on it yet.......but give me time ..I've only had the camera for two years !!!!
