Anyone know how to move songs from your ipod back onto ITunes?
Thanks

Yes I do, in a word you can't.
You have to transfer it back from your backed up file - do you have one?
If not, you can download software (I use copytrans - and this also has a free trial) to enable it.
You can't move songs back to itunes unless you use software to do it.
There are a number of trial software versions, but these generally have restrictions on numbers of songs you can move. Try "ipodlounge" - they have some good help with this. In the end you may have to pay for some software.
I decided to move all my itunes library to a seperate portable hard drive - that way its free of my PC and serves as a back up.

Thanks for the responses.
We have recently upgraded our pc and all of my Itunes library was on the old one.
I've signed up for copytrans and copied the songs back onto Itunes. It was only a couple that my friend had given me that I really wanted to keep. The rest of the songs I can add again from CDs.
I will certainly be copying all of the Itunes Library onto a separate device in the future.

Just make sure you bak them up properly, I 'thought' I had only to discover they wouldn't copy back from the extrnal hard-drive into itunes!
Thank goodness for copytrans!
