Just back from Orlando last week, just thought I would let you know what a fantastic Airboat Ride we had while in Florida.
Last year we done Boggy Creek, did not see 1 Alligator.
This year we went a little further affield but totally worth it! Near the East coast, website address is www.airboatride.com
For an hour and a half on a boat which only seats up to 6 people, we saw loads of Alligators, and different types of birds, also cattle and pigs!!! The owners name is Capt. Gator Bruce and was full of useful info about the area. Would highly recommend him!! A couple of pictures....

Super! Thanks so much! This is something we are keen to do and there are exactly 6 of us so it would fit perfectly :)
Off to check out the link!
PS - will have a 4 and a 7 year old ~ would you think it would be suitable?

Well ~ I called them and they do accept 4 year olds and over ~ didn't ask about anything younger as he was with customers and *very* rushed.
The price he quoted me was $45 for adults and $38 for kids (12 and under).
Hope that helps!

I think that price for an hour and a half is brill :thumbs-up. You've really put us in the mood to try it ourselves.

Hi
Id love to take the kids on this however the wifes is a bit of a nervous nelly when it comes to things like this. Is the boat stable and does it induce travel sickness or anything of the sort. If its okay I might be able to persaude her.
Cheers

The boats are very stable and I`ve never known anyone to have travel sickness on them. You will all be fine, it is a fabulous experience. :)
