Will be going in December, have e-mail the paed and she's writing the letter stating each of the children difficulties in case i get asked for proof as i don't think they would fancy my "file". It would properly be over the weight limit anyway.

The thing is that all 3 of mine have special needs so do each of them get a card each, do they go together in the line??
Just worried in case they get split up. Properly silly question i know.

Eldest has severe speech and language disorders, social communication disorder is "unoffically" on the spectrum ~(long story, but yep she is on the spectrum). Sensory issues.
Anixety.

Middle, ADHD, speech and language disorder . Sensory issues, visual stress (lights give her migraines so she wears special glasses).

Little un, speech and language delay/?disordered. Behavioural issues, sensory issues. ASD was orginally ruled out but it was mentioned again last week ? Might be a step closer by the time we go to a dx.
Has a major pushchair.

What should i go for in regards to the cards? As i know there's a out of sun pass, a wheelchair pass etc??

 Hello and a big warm welcome to the Dibb!

I would expect you will be given one pass for your whole family group which will cover all the kids needs, you wouldn't be expected to split up. The CMs at Guest Relations will know how to issue the correct card. They can tag the major buggy as a wheelchair so you can use it in lines. They will not ask you for a letter to get the GAC, but your airline may ask for it.

Happy planning!

Hiya, and welcome! The guest relations peeps are really good and will probably just give you a family GAC. I've never had to show a letter, 5 seconds with mine and they know what the problem is!! :d: Are you flying from Manchester or Gatwick? Have you phoned Virgin Special Needs? If you're flying PE, you should have no probs with seat space etc and check in, but let special needs know anyhow, they really are helpful, ie meals on the plane etc. Have a great time! We're going end of Nov, beginning of Dec this year too.

Hubby is in NY this week, so he's going to contact them when he gets back.
Going by Gatwick.
So am looking forward to it but dreading the flight. Am planning to make sure that i have got plenty of toys to keep the 3 busy.

Oh and if we have to wait to get the guest pass they soon be able to tell with mine as well  :pgig:
Last month legoland springs to mind.

Hiya, they have always been great at Disney with the GAP, i took my son in this year, we didnt have to explain his disability as he is a cane user and they gave us one within a few mins. It worked out fantastic this year and Connah was much more relaxed.

middle child just after i typed last message somehow fell on to a broke toy box (why wasn't this box in the bin?) from getting out of a chair.
Screaming her head off for a good 40 mins, calpol didn't seem to work. Massive long bruise on her thigh.

So toke them all to the hospital and you guess it she perked up. Leg will look nasty for a few days and be a bit painful.

Worried that hubby might of e-mailed but nope nothing.

Don't you just love those trips to A&E? Hope she/he is ok. Just had to drag my son across the landing, cos he just had a seizure, so managed to get him in bed. He'll sleep for a few hours. Knew something was going to happen, cos he fell asleep at 3.30 yesterday afternoon, and when I tried to wake him at 4.30, he came downstairs, but then disappeared back to bed at 5. Didn't wake till 10 this morning.Hope this isn't a spurt of seizures starting, cos we go in 4 weeks on monday. Fingers crossed!
