View Full Version : Travel insurance
Hello, Has anyone has any experience of taking out travel insurance to cover a child with a chromosome abnormality? Of the companies we have got quotes from, they don't seem to have it listed, and the closest match is simply "Learning difficulty’s"
She has heart complications (fully corrected with surgery) and reflux which is going to be corrected soon, which they accept, but they can't seem to understand the term chromosome abnormality?
Any advice muchly appriciated.
i would try here they wil do online screening and there's people who will help on the phone too
they are not the cheapest but they helped us when no one would touch my mil with a bargepole and i use them for my epilepsy as it's not fully controlled http://www.free-spirit.com/

Our DS has complex disabilities and we have travel insurance from Esure. They do a medical screening by phone before they quote and don't load the premium for stable pre-existing conditions.
