Mario Party 8 on Wii

We have this game and we are trying to play it on a widescreen telly but when you go to play the game it changes the screen size to 4.3. It okay through the introduction screens it is just when we try and play the game.

We have had this game for about 8 weeks and I cannot remember if before we went on holiday if it played like this or as widescreen

Can anyone help.

Not got this one yet but I would say alter the setting on your tv. I have this problem with different channels and sometimes different programmes on sky. I turn over and it goes to 4.3 I just press the button on the remote that goes through the settings and alter it to fullscreen.

On the Wii you can go in to settings and choose screen, then widescreen (16:9)

Thanks Sean and Sue, have already done that but the game stills plays in 4:3. The opening titles and when choosing gameplay are in widescreen, it is just the gameplay that is not

Just googled and it seems it was only made for 4:3, weird, but true according to HERE (http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/792/792495p1.html), (second paragraph)
