Iif I buy a Wii game in the states will it work on my UK Wii?

Afraid not - the Wii games are regionalised.

They will work but ONLY if your wii is chipped/modded.

I bought a Nunchuck back from Walmart. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm 99% sure controllers are the same.
