Hi All, I am trying to find out for friend if his printer and scanner are compatible with Vista before he gets a new PC.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.
Scanner Agfa snapscan E50
Printer Canon Pixima IP5000

Regards......Ted

HI there. Dh says go to the manufactures websites and look for driver downloads or support for vista and follow links to see what they say. If they have the downloads for your machines included then a new computer with vista SHOULD run them but with vista nothing is guaranteed. Best advice he can give is buy a MAC

There's nothing on the HCL for the printer or scanner, but then they are just certified drivers.

Can't find anything for vista for the scanner, but they are cheap enough to get a new one if need be.
Drivers for the printer are available and can be found at:
