Hi All,

Mini-rant!! Sorry! ;)

Am I correct in thinking that as most ticketing firms lower their prices nearer the peak summer period, and then sometimes again during that period, that anyone who wants to go in the beginning of the year gets penalised?!

It seems the highest prices are charged/paid for the first, say, 4 months or so of the year before the ticket prices start dropping!

Am I right? What are peoples experiences from previous years?

I only ask coz we went at beginning of Oct and got great price on 14 day disney tickets after waiting till late summer to get them.
Now for 2008 the prices are (obviously I suppose!) a GREAT deal more - currently!!.....

So should I want to go in April im gonna pay the full whack!!! :mad2:

it does seem to be this way .. you might get a good deal in jan though as some of them seem to have sales then ..

Thanks for replying redriva!. (think I may have scared people off with my little rant!!) :blush:

I was hoping ticket firms may do xmas/new year sales, when their revenue is probably pretty low!

Im really praying this will be the case!!

I am hoping for this too,given the high $ rate /pound at the moment I would like to think the prices will start coming down a bit,the 7 day premium tickets have a big price hike for next year compared to this year

I'm holding on 'til next year with tickets as well. With the dollar as it is the prices in this country will have to come down, if not then I'll just order my tickets from the US.

I'm holding out till January, if no deals will again order through US, last January Universal did some free child tickets, so waiting to see what January brings.

we go jan 08 have just booked 4day flexi ticket 97 pounds arabian nights £15 booked disney 7day direct from disney because dollar so good just cant wait now
