Help needed with Garmin StreetPilot c340

Looking to buy one of these when in orlando ..It is obviously loaded with maps for orlando etc but how easy is it to get it to work with the uk maps..I am assuming i could purchase the uk maps when back home ?? Has anybody bought sat nav over there...The one im looking at is less than half the price to buy it here so its got to be a bargain !! :grin:

We had a Tom Tom 901 and it worked great in the States but not here (bought here) so we got a refund and we have a Garmin 510c. This was bought here and came with a UK map but I have bought a USA map from Abay and you just load it in and choose it (hope it works OK when we get there) It looks really strange when you see Sweet tomatoes as a favourite when you are in the UK. Might be best to buy a UK map as they may be harder to get here as most come with it pre-loaded in this country

Thanks margaret ..Just looked on ebay and think can get the uk maps for £20 so not to bad :)
