Just spoke to Virgin and they have given us a extra 5kg to be spread over two cases for DD as she is in pads. He did state to me though not for coming back. Fair play i suppose.
I have also requested to sit in the economy area just behind pe as it's smaller and should be quieter.

it's a good "mini cabin" so hope you get your seats, they are usually pretty good at meeting special requests

Sounds like they are pretty good at accommodating your needs. Hope it works out fine.

Most airlines will allow you to take a 'medical bag' which doesn't count towards your luggage allowance if you have a family member who needs pads, special feed or a lot of meds. You do need to arrange this in advance. We have even had a waiver on any excess baggage.
