just thought i would mention that when we were at disney on the free ddp,the chefs were absolutly brilliant.my ds 6 is very allergic to nuts and egg,and i now have to carry an epipen where ever we go.after i had made my adrs ,i then informed the cm about the allergies and in every restaurant we went to they were so on the ball,it was brilliant.on the first day at breakfastasourus the chef made my son 3 massive mickey pancakes,i was forcing the other kids to eat them as they were so huge.all the chefs were ace,but the one who i remember the most was one from the crystal palace who walked me around the buffet and on me commenting on the mussels (my son loves these)then produced a huge dish of freshly cooked mussels my ds and dd gourmandised these very quickly.its so nice when someone goes the exrta mile :)mo

So glad you had a great experience. It makes all the difference when you are worried about one of your own with such a potentially life threatening problem. If only every restaurant did this.
As I have said many times...Disney do it in style. ;)

Yes Disney is great like this - my eldest DD has a severe nut allergy (she has had a plane diverted because somebody opened some nuts a couple of rows back from her!!!) and when she came with us we told the restaurants and they did the same for us - we also had the walk around the buffet at CP and they were brilliant at all the others - really reassuring!!
