 hiya yep they work over here as we bought loads last year for sons DS,we also bought a DS over in Florida for daughter and games bought here work on that too, most portable games consoles will play games from different countries, treat yourselfs as the games are so much cheaper over there than here,Walmart usually sells them the cheapest with Toys r Us good value too  :pd

The Walmart we went to on the US27 had a limited choice, try Gamestop at some of the Malls and Circuit City. You can look up their websites to choose before you go.

When your out there Mario Party DS will be the big game release and as people have said $30 is normally the top price you'll pay.

DD9 is having a DS for Xmas, and after seeing how cheap the games were in Walmart this year, I'm hoping the few she has with the DS and the one's her older sister has will keep her sweet until we go next year.
I hate paying in excess of £30 here for games when they're half price in USA.
