Just wanted to say a big thumbs up for ESURE .
Just been on the phone to them for insurance for our son and they were so helpful. If you have a disabilty they said they as a company do not discriminate and will always insure you. for the 4 of us including DS with the disablity and everything associated with him it came to £135.67.

Nice one Ali!
Esure came up trumps for us too when our previous insurer wouldn't cover DH after his accident. They covered him and all our other assortment of PEMCs for not a penny extra. I've often recommended them.

are you classed as disabled? because that seems to be the key. the guy Nathan said he could insure our son apart from anything relating to his spinal cord injury I said no to that as all his problems stem from that but he was really helping and apologetic and asked is he classed as disabled and I said yes. he then said well in that case we will insure him. we will insure anyone who is classed as disabled.
my mum and dad have medical issues and arn't classed as disabled so they might not get it via them

Well it looks like I have got three potential policies. Am going to wait until I get the written quotes so I can compare. Looks like it will be via Perry Gamble but could be City bond or Club Direct. All three have offered me policies so my lungs look likely to be covered for abot £120 or £170 depending on which policy I go for. This is a year worldwide cover.
For reference of anyone else out there Insure and Go, Post Office Esure, heath Lambert global all said no to the lungs or quoted really silly prices. The best quote that I thought was a joke was no worldwide cover and would only do 1 week at the rate of £260. Of course that got a clear thanks but no thanks response.
