I have just had an e-mail from DDE card and at the bottom it says that from 1st Jan 2008 they will add 18% tip to all transactions at food locations regardless of the size of the party

should make caculating the tip after a few drinks a bit easier!!

I have just had this email, the only thing that worries me about this is that it will have an impact on the service that we receive if the tip is already included

A tip added in this way is still optional and if you feel service was bad you are within your rights to deduct it.

I agree. I wouldn't pay a full tip if the service wasn't good.
