View Full Version : TomTom Go 910 GPS
I've tried everywhere today to get one of these. I don't want to get one off ebay, nor do I want a used one off amazon marketplace. I am also a bit apprehensive about getting a new one from amazon marketplace as I had a load of hassle recently through one of their sellers and a different product. Everywhere I go, the shops are telling me that they have stopped making the 910 and is now the 920. However, the 920 is not US (worldwide) and that is what I want. I don't want to be faffing about downloading the us maps as I think they are quite expensive on top of the sat nav price - nor do I think I'd be able to do it right  Does anyone know where I can get one of these from off the 'high street' (a shop I can walk in to).

Sorry can't help, but having read how good these were on the dibb AND that it has USA maps I looked for them in Halfords - no luck there I'm afraid.
It's certainly one I'd like to get as we hired one in Cal this year and it cost us about £65 but was worth twice that for how much time it saved (and no arguing)
Good luck in your hunt, I'd be interested in the replies you receive to. :)

HI Buster uk. Thanks for that. I saw this company on Amazon as a marketplace seller so was dubious due to past experiences with other sellers. Your recommendation is good enough for me...I'll give them a go. Thanks again.

Full US maps are reduced to £35 just now from the tomtom website
I also think it is quite easy to load them onto a new and inexpensive SD card for use with the other models in the tomtom range that take an sd card
I have the one xl and am really pleased with it.

We got ours off www.totalpda.co.uk it was apparently reconditioned but it was brand new when it arrived. It is the same model - now just have to remember to pack it!

have used my tomtom go 300 in florida and it was very good, mind you it did take us on a mystery tour to Animal kingdom once, but a pleasent journey just the same, i find they really help at the end of the day when its dark your tired and the traffic is heavy leaving the parks and you reall need to be in the right lane for your turn off.
