Hopefully it's worth it as we're booked to go for the first time on Christmas Eve, late lunch at Rose & Crown.

It is fantastic, I really enjoy it as one of the main Christmas events in Orlando.

Another here with thumbs up :)
Can save you queuing for hours for the CP if you are going near to Xmas. It's quite a spectacle though it sent my 5 year old to sleep :erm:

this is why I spend so much time on the dibb - I can't say I'd heard of the CP before...but it sounds great! I'm going to have to sell a kidney for all these great things we keep finding out about...

Its a lovely show - gets you right into Christmas.
Craig - have done R&C twice on Christmas Eve with the Candlelight Processional after - it really does make for a magical Christmas Eve.
We're going on 23rd this year as we've spent the last two Christmas Eve's in Epcot and want a change this year!

We went Christmas Eve 2004 and then onto Rose and Crown. The kids weren't that interested but I loved it - very Christmassy. 2005 I didn't book but managed to get a seat after walking up at the start time. I think it was about 5.00pm on Christmas day. We had seen people in a very long line more than an hour before and didn't fancy our chances but just happen to be passing stopped to have a look and were asked if we wanted seats.

I rang to try and change my ADR to an earlier time on the 22/12, but was told everything completely full on that date. I am going to the last show at 8:15pm but my ADR is not until 5:15pm - have been told to allow up to 1 hr to wait with buzzer before seating, and to be in line for the show at least 45 mins before start time else they open the reserved seating up to the crowds, I hope it works out and I manage to enjoy my meal without clock watching every mouthful!!
Best advice is to keep trying as reading on the US site DIS.com, folk are phoning almost everyday to change/cancel their reservations.
