I am *so* not a gadget person but I have been asked by a friend to bring a couple of those back from Florida for her daughters for Christmas if I see a good deal...
How do I know if it is a good deal?!
Has anybody bought one over there and had problems with it? Can anyone offer any advice on buying here/there?
Thanks again folks

We bought 2 a few years ago from the apple shop at mall at millenia, we haven't had any problems with them. If I remember rightly though there wasn't much difference in price to over here when we got them but that may be different now with the better exchange rate

Thanks for that... I was just wondering the same thing... She told me she had seen them for £118 online so maybe for peace of mind she is as well getting them here in the UK...
costco uk have them for £114 with 3 year guarantee.
Hi,
I'm exactly the same as you, my daughter keeps talking about 3rd generation ! and touch ! and I haven't really got a clue what shes talking about.
I have asked my sister-in-law to pick me one up when she is over in the next couple of weeks. I thought of getting it from Walmart and then I can take it back to Asda if there are any problems.
As far as I know they are cheaper than what you can get in the UK.
Walmart is showing
4GB at $147.88
8GB at $197.88
(which my daughter tells me are 3rd generation)
Costco's sound quite a good deal with the 3 year guarantee depending on which one it is ??
Good luck :wavey:

I'm fairly sure it was the 8gb one, i am going in costco tommorow so will have a look and let you know.
okay the good news is that it is the 8gb version, the bad news is that it is £114........plus VAT. Sorry i just noticed the price in bold as i was walking by but costco put the VAT price in small letters underneath. Still good price though.

Why not have a look on the Walmart site for prices.
