Following on from CBR600's thread about our kids choice of clothes, i'd like to get DD some bits and bobs for christmas, but don't know where to start!
At the moment she's got a wardrobe full of black hoodies, stripey tights/leggings and slogan t-shirts! So far I've got her some Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride t-shirts and i've spent ages trawling websites and ebay, but i haven't got a clue what i'm looking for! :confused2
Scary Mary and Emily Strange (how much???? :omg: ) keep popping up, but are there any other brands/labels i should be looking for?
Please help this poor clueless Mum!!!

David and Goliath do a lot of slogan t-shirts that are quite popular. Some are totally not suitable for kids, but some are :)

Hi there!
Maybe try attitude.uk.com
:)
Hot Topic will ship to the UK, I got a load of stuff for Vicki one year and she was over the moon to have stuff that none of her friends got for xmas, the service was very quick too.

DD's saving every penny for her first ever visit to Hot Topic in February! She's aiming to have $500 and insists she's going to blow the whole lot in there! :omg:
As a Primark fan just the idea of blowing that much cash in one shop makes me feel faint! :erm: :pgig:
Lol, my DD was grumbling to the sales assistant that there are no Hot Topics in the UK and he said she should start a petition and send it to the CMO as every suggestion and complaint is taken very seriously!
Be prepared to spend a long time in there, I was actually starting to think at one point we'd never get beyond this shop...

Just bought a fab little Ruby Gloom bag on Ebay for £6.50! Bargain! :thumb: Many thanks!
My DD likes Blue Banana.Especially now they've just opened a branch here.Try looking around where you live - theres often these stores that are independant - where there are students usually!
She goes to Classix in York too - they've got a website I'm sure.
Emily the Strange is an expensive line of clothes we've found - £50 for a hoody!! :omg:

Beth said her favourite brands are criminal damadge, living dead souls and Emily the strange. She got everything from www.bluebanana.cc and they even delivered free of charge to the Falklands! They are not cheap though, especially the hoodies, but you can pick up some great t-shirts for under £10
For accessories like Gothie jewelery, studded belts, arm warmers, mad tights etc then Claires accessories has a fantastic range.

Just beware of having to pay customs duty on them though....when Becky bought some boots from HT she had a fortune to pay on top of the price for duty!! Made them a very expensive pair of boots I'm afraid!:(

we've emailed HT about this too, for the last 3 years! No news yet though....

If she spends a lot in there Val, ask them about a discount card! :thumbs-up We spend loads and they've given us a discount card to use every time now....very worth while!
The deal is.....for every $10 you sepnd you get you get a stamp, when you have 10 stamps you get 15% of your next buy....so it pays to spend it in $100 lots really.....if you see ehat I mean! We've saved a fortune with this! :thumbs-up

As the proud "owner" of an EMO (Emily) and a MCR fan (Rebecca) we've bought them band merchandise from Everything but the Music (http://www.ebtm.com) and Grindstore (http://www.grindstore.com).
Not cheap....but they love it!!!

Ohhh I just had a thought, is there a MK One near you? I got Beth some great bargains in there, black skinny leg jeans for a fiver, loads of punk style t-shirts, and a couple of black fleeces, got 3 bag loads of stuff for less than £40.
Another place to pick up reasonably priced black combat type trousers with loads of zips etc on is Tammy girl in BHS, they have got a selection of punk/metal type t-shirts too and skinny jeans in all sorts of mad colour, Beth got a purple pair which she loves!
