We are going to Universal for the first time next month and are thinking about eating at the Hard Rock cafe. Would you help me decide what to do -
should I make a reservation online - it will be xmas eve when we go or should we book Hard Rock cafe meal vouchers through Virgin (Virgin rep phoned last night), apparently these vouchers will get us to the front of the queue and the cost of the vouchers is taken of your bill? If I order vouchers through Virgin I will get my free Citywalk dinner vouchers, which I won't get otherwise.
What should I do? Has anyone used the Virgin vouchers for Hard Rock? Any good? and is it worth getting hold of the free meal vouchers?
Thank you for your help

When we went to HRC this year we wanted to book a table for DD's
18th birthday, but we were told that we couldn't make a reservation, and basically had to turn up and wait!
Luckily we went in the afternoon so we were seated straight away, but I wouldn't have liked to "just turn up" in the evening.
The proceedure most probably be different over the Xmas period though, but the Virgin vouchers sound a good idea!
I loved the ambience of HRC and the food was very good, so we're hoping to return next year, even if we have to queue...

We only waited about 15 minutes for a table.

We love the HRC good food ,great atmosphere but very noisy which for us means that no one can hear DD'S when they start to get a bit restless!

yes, you can do a 'please excuse me' online 30 days out......it makes sure you get the next available table, so you may have a little wait.
We ate there on Sunday night....fabulous atmosphere, and brilliant service.......and its an enormous restaurant....would highly recommend :thumbs-up

Thanks for the info, does anyone know if the Virgin free citywalk meal is worth getting. If it is then I will get the HRC vouchers from them. Otherwise I will just book online - I'm glad to hear that is possible.
Thanks :)
