Where/how to start looking for a Villa

Hi all,

I've booked my flights and have started searching for Villas. I'm finding it really difficult, not knowing where to stay and what to look for. I realise Villa owners cannot advertise their Villa's, but can people give me hints and tips on how to start please?

I've started looing at the {removed- please refer to forum guidelines regarding villa rental sites} website, which looks quite good.

We're a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (aged 4 & 7), looking for a Villa for 3 weeks commencing 22 July 2008. Our budget is around £1500.

Dibb villa owners can advertise their properties and there's a whole section of the forums devoted to them here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=92).

Why don't you put your request on the Villa Section of the forum and then anyone who has availability with get in touch. You can then get an idea of prices and further details etc.

There are lots of beautiful villas on the forum and Dibb owners will be happy to answer any questions you have about their home or the local area.
