View Full Version : Dining Reservations and the Dining Plan
Hi
I know it is absolutely AGES until I go but I'm just so excited to get planning!
I haven't booked the dining plan yet but am about 98% sure that I am going to so what I wanted to ask is just about the credits for TS meals? The restaurante below are ones that I am thinking about booking - does anyone know how many credits each will use up?
thanks in advance!!!
Tracey
1900 Park Fare - Character Breakfast
Chef Mickey’s - Character Breakfast
Jiko - Dinner
Coral Reef - Lunch
Nine Dragons - Dinner
‘Ohana’s Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch -Character Breakfast
Hollywood & Vine - Lunch
Cinderella’s Royal Table - Character Breakfast
Le Cellier - Dinner
'Ohana's - Dinner
Polynesian Dinner Show
Think that of your choices, they are all 1 credit on the DDP except for Jiko (which is 2) and I think Cindy's Royal Table is also 2
Here is a link to the official site, click on the dining brochure bit and they are all listed - HERE (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/tickets/packageDetail?id=PackageDetailMYWDiningPkg08Page)

Poly dinner show is also 2 credits.I urge you to reconsider this, the meal is very average and apart from the fire eater the show I have to say is boring and very americanised.I know every ones opinions are different but we were really bored and my son fell asleep, the only night that he did this and to be honest I couldn't blame him. :)
Thanks so much for the info guys! I spend so much time on the Disney website and I don't know how I missed everything about dining??? lol
I'm quite shocked - I thought most of the ones I had picked would be 2 credits! so yay!
As for the Poly dinner show - I think I'll take your advice on this one - a couple of people have told me it's not everything it could be. I think the main reason I was considering it is the fact that I REALLY want to stay at the Poly but it's not an option at the moment (just got my first mortgage and I am paying to take my Mum on this trip).
I always seem to hear good things about 'Ohana's though?

i think,if we do the ddp again,i would rather go for more signature meals that are 2 table credits,so i would feel less restricted for the whole holiday, also the meals on 2 credits were a bit special. mo.ps.you really struggle to spend all the credits for counter service, snax etc.
We are on the free DDP next year and I am planning at least 3 x2 TS meals and a couple of TS breakfasts so that we have more evenings free to do as we please and not feel tied to eating in WDW.

Yep I'm going to do the same. Although we got good benefit (money-wise) last time. It was very restricted so am thinking of doing the same as you. We are also starting our holiday off site. :)
