is this a true reflection? I am booking my holiday Mon/Tues and planning to kick off with 3 nights at US. I was thinking of RPR as my DD will be 7, but she actually liked the look of HRH and when I looked on trip advisor RPR gets a bit slated and HRH gets better reviews than PB. I'm booking with Virgin with my Tesco vouchers and theres hardly any difference in the prices between the 3 US hotels.

Can anyone who's stayed in HRH give me advice as to whether it was nice and if so any particularly good rooms or floors to stay on?

Thanks.

Another Q, what is club level like in HRH?

We've stayed in all 3 and HRH is our favourite. It is literally a 3 min walk through lovely gardens to the arch of US. The only 'draw back', if you can call it that, is the pool is only 3ft deep at the deepest. But the slide is good fun! We always like a room high up, pool view and you get great views of the parks :wavey:

Edit to say: Club level is good, if you are going to eat and drink whats on offer. We found we didnt use it to its full advantage as we were in the parks during the afternoon eats, but we did have a few buds and nibbles on a night! Brekkie was quite decent too

Thanks for replying, what time of year did you stay we are going to be there in Aug, hoping it won't be rowdy.

The pool actually sounds great for DD she can swim but won't come down the slide if its out of her depth.

Might give club a miss, as you say we aren't expecting to be in our rooms much and I have heard that breakfast/brunch at the Kitchen is good.

We spent 4 nights there last year and loved it! The theming was fantastic, the rooms were lovely, DD loved the pool and slide and the close proximity to the parks was a real bonus! I couldn't fault it!
We stayed at RPR this year and hated it, so we'll definately stick with HRH in future!
We also had breakfast at The Kitchen a couple of times and really enjoyed it!

We are staying at HRH next summer and are looking forward to it. We loved our stay at RPR last year and had a room overlooking Hulk and Dr Doom. The room was beautiful, the beds so comfy and everything was pure luxury. We loved the Island dining room for breakfast as well as the service at the hotel. I would go back in a heartbeat. Our friends stayed there this summer and absolutely loved it too. They plan on going back to RPR next time.

We stayed at the HRH club level in Sept, my DD loved it. We were not sure about it, so we are giving it another go on our next trip.

The club room is nice:)

Im excited about this too! not stayed there yet but have booked 3 nights for the end of January, it was all about getting FOL for us, and seeing as we will be in the parks all day and eating out at City walk/wandering round the shops at night we decided not to bother booking a club room as we just wouldnt get use out of it. I usually read all the threads on here abour HRH and am pleased to say have never yet seen a bad one!

Love HRH, as you could tell from my trippie!;)

Have stayed there a few times now and it's not let us down yet. There are lots of special touches that make you feel they go that wxtra mile, at least we've found it so :)

I'd ask for a room overlooking the gardens or pool, otherwise you may get one over the car park! (has happened to us once but they quickly changed it when requested.)

Love club level too, but thats because we like to eat bf quickly in our rooms and just pick up some things from the lounge to do that. The free sodas/water are really useful to us too as we drink a lot, and stock up to take them with us during the day.:)

I don't think a lot of people would get the full benefit of this though...

All in all, it's one of my very favourite hotels :)

We stayed at HRH for just 1 night & loved it. The only disappointment for me was the pool as I'd been in a villa & looking forward to a good long swim!

We booked the bed & breakfast rate & ate our breakfast in The Kitchen, great food & we didn't need to eat lunch.

We asked for a room on an higher floor which we got, 6th I think. A good view & not noisy.

We checked in early 8am to get our FOL passes & returned about 3 when our room was ready.

Easy to walk to the parks, but we used the boat transport & DD & DS used the rickshaws. which are free you just give the "driver" a tip.

Would definately stay there again

I will be booking through virgin and I will request high floor for HRH and POP but will phone POP the week before and put a request in with Disney. Can I phone HRH direct just before and put a direct request in? also any chance I will get my Loews freebies booking through Virgin?

Sounds so fab I can't wait to book next week!!!!!!!!!

We just emailed our request to the HRH, we got what we wanted :)

Don't know about your loews freebie though, we couldn't use ours as we booked AP rate.

Stayed at HRH for one night this year and loved it. We were also put on the Sixth floor and had great view across to theme parks. With a huge wide screen TV on the wall. We much prefer it to PR, the Rock N Roll theme of the hotel is great. Loved the pool with the under water music and cinema screen, we laid in pool on loungers watching Bill and Ted. We are definitely booking another night at HRH, with the bonus of FOL access to theme parks.

Even if you're not ay club level ask for a 6th floor pool view room for the best view. (Lifts are plentiful and fast!

We stayed there a couple of weeks ago and apart from one minor skirmish with housekeeping thought it was outstanding .
