FOL Passes for Universal in Sept??

Hi

We have booked to go next September for free DDP. We have been in September before and found it really quiet and no problem getting on rides, we actually did US and IOA in one day it was so quiet. This was a couple of years ago however and was wondering now that disney offer free DDP in Sept is it a lot busier ie. do you think it would be worth having a night in a universal hotel to get FOL passes??

We were at US in Sept 07 and stayed at the HRH, we didn't find the parks to be that busy but it was nice to have the FOTL pass, just incase.

This is probably a silly question, however, what does FOTL mean. My DH says i have to sign my name so everyone knows i'm the silly one. JULIE
